The integration of Digital Technology have improved the interaction between business and customers. The Digital Technology have shaped the culture of people, with the internet the world is now seen has a Hub, where all people are connected. Digital Technology have made people to communicate easier than before, we just need a device such as: phone, tablet and computer to connect with others all over the world. It out of necessity that business and consumers adapt to the New Technologies for a better service and get their need satisfy.

What is the Internet? The internet called the net, is a World Wide Web (www) system of interconnected computer networks and electronic devices that communicate each other’s. It’s started as a method of transferring data used only by the U.S Government in the 1960s, but that protocol has reached the public domain in the 1990s, to later being used by firms and companies all over the world. At first, the internet was very expensive, but now many families and homes appliances are connected to the internet. The search for a faster, a better and reliable network have made the internet price more affordable for people.  In deed the Digital Technology have fashioned the Market landscape, people are going online, that means they made enquiries on their smartphone. There is no need for you to move out of your house to view your products, this is call Online Shopping. As the internet was commerciliazied in 1991,  e-commerce started in the UK the pioneer site was Amazon.com in 1991, and eBay was introduced. However the e-commerce market was still dormant, until April 2020 when covid 19 pandemic started. The year 2020 marked the expansion of new e-commerce business, making the UK the 3rd Largest market of ecommerce in the world. In the UK the consumers purchased goods:

Today many Digital apps for Tv where also created, with your purchased, you can rent or buy any movie, with just a Smart TV you can make your home a theatre or cinema on platform like: Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video and many others. Some platform are free, with Youtube [ you can access your Wu tang and Kung Fu movies those are the best], Pluto TV, ITVX, Freeview, Plex, UKTV Play and many others. But it’s not only movies or series that can be ordered online, many Game platform have also emerged  we have so much funs on the internet we have platform for videos making: Tik Tok, Intagram, Youtube, Facebook and others.

However the Digital Technology have enhanced our life and influenced many Business. Building an Online platform is a requirement; the Banking system has been so much impacted by the internet. Despite al those innovation caused by the internet we can now, see how the internet has made us vulnerable to hackers and scammers. A small mistake can cost you so much, many report shows that Elders and young people have been abused online. A new reality has emerged from the internet, it’s success made her a prey for new criminals, people who have skills and knowledges have invaded the landscape to abuse, to steal, to bully others. I have in memory the private video of a lady in Italy who was shared publicly that cause her to take her life. The internet have also created addiction, in many countries the Government have to step down to deal with children been addict to video games and violence.

In conclusion, the Digital Technology have extended all the borders and have connected people and companies. At that point we cannot imagine a world without the Digital Technology, from workplace to our home, and now appliance, that asset is a key element for a better quality of life. Although the Digital Technology have expended our landscape, the measure put in place to protect people and companies data; laws like GDPR, CASL and CAN-SPAM must been made effectives. Even though Digital Technology is trending people must be more careful about the consequence on their health, you must then be your own keeper, parents need to be more vigilant about their children online activities.
